24/7 training centre’s mandate is to provide the tools and opportunity necessary for workers to achieve their full potential in the workplace and to invest in life long learning
Program Specifics
24/7 is introducing a 12 week 1st year apprentice challenge program designed to provide students with a wide range of introductory skills that are needed to work as a first-year apprentice within a chosen trade. The program is designed in such a way that students spend time divided between the classroom and within a PAID practicum environment with an employer.
Program Outcomes
Upon successfully completing the classroom and work experience components, the students will be assisted with the preparation to challenge the RED SEAL level One exam for their trade. Students who successful pass this exam may be eligible for the apprenticeship incentive program.
Training Areas
Plumbing, Carpentry, Electrical (construction) and Sheet Metal
Application Procedures
Interested applicants are requested to contact 24/7 to meet with a counselor to determine interest, eligibility and motivation to successfully complete a program of this nature. Successful applicants will be accepted on the basis of being assigned an Employer.
