Larry Jung, Dipl.Tech., BA, CDP
Larry Jung is a career mentor and has been assisting job seekers since 2006. His specialty is helping highly educated and skilled foreign trained professionals from all professional and academic backgrounds penetrate the Canadian job market. Larry has worked with physicians, nurses, clinic and lab technologists and technicians, as well as engineers, accountants, lawyers, educators, social workers, software developers and network administrators. In addition to helping skilled immigrants, Larry has guided university students to their 1st jobs and careers in Canada. Being Canadian born, his cumulative and diverse academic learning and work experience has all been in Metro Vancouver. In the past, Larry has held front-line management and head-office roles in the retail sector, engineering services and technology marketing; academic research, immigrant professional employment and co-op education sectors. More specifically he has held such roles as a Marketer, Entrepreneur, Purchaser, Administrator, Enterprise Software Tester and Trainer, Project Coordinator, Career/Employment Counselor, Strategic Job Search Coach and Career Mentor, and Co-op Advisor/Instructor.
Geoff Frost CHRP CCDP
Geoff is an accomplished Human Resources Professional and Career Development Practitioner. He has been involved in the Career Development Field now for over fifteen years serving many different client groups in the roles of both job development and workshop facilitation. During this time he worked with Internationally Trained Professionals helping them to find employment in Canada. Geoff will complete his Provincial Instructor Diploma this year and is also certified to conduct emotional intelligence assessments utilizing the EQ-i 2.0. Geoff also serves as the Chair of the Diversity and Inclusion Round Tables for the HR Association and has presented at many events related to both HR and career development.Geoff recently began his own HR consulting practice specializing in Workplace Performance, Diversity and Inclusion Training, Mediation and Conflict Resolution and Workplace Investigation. This means he works closely with and has an extensive network of Canadian Employers. Geoff is passionate about understanding and respecting differences and is driven to contribute to making today’s diverse workplace more inclusive.
Julie McMahon RCIC CDP GDBA BA
Julie is a registered member of the ICCRC (Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council), the body which regulates all Canadian Immigration Consultants who are currently practicing immigration law in Canada and abroad. Julie has a background in immigrant settlement services, career counseling and business development (both academic and practical application). Julie is a Career Development Practitioner (SFU) and is a member of the BC Career Development Association as well as a Member of Career Professionals of Canada. She holds an Immigration Consultant Diploma (CSIC), a Bachelors Degree in English (UBC) and a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (SFU). Julie is also a Certified Interview Strategist (CPC) and a Certified Resume Strategist (CPC).
