Simon Fraser University in recent years has literally and figuratively come down from its mountain. The university has developed three dynamic campuses, remaking and revitalizing neighbourhoods in Vancouver and Surrey, and creating a new community on Burnaby Mountain. At the same time, its students and faculty have become passionate contributors to community life and learning. Drawing upon these developments, SFU recently released a new strategic vision – to make it “the leading engaged university” in Canada and the world.
