Overcoming Adversity & Leading without the Title
Join members of the Vancouver Board of Trade’s Company of Young Professionals (CYP) and Leaders of Tomorrow (LOT) Programs as they here from an accomplished panel of Business Leaders about Overcoming Adversity and Leading Without the Title. Many working professionals are now being asked to do more with less and take on leadership roles beyond their job title. Speakers will share how they have overcome this in their own career and how guests can do the same.
Master of Ceremonies will be Riaz Meghji Co-Host of Citytv’s Breakfast Television. Riaz originally started his career in the financial world before deciding to pursue a career in the entertainment world. Riaz worked in radio at Z953FM before making the shift into television working for MTV Canada, CTV News, and SUN TV before joining the Citytv family in 2008 as co-host on Breakfast Television in Vancouver.
